A 10-week self-inquiry journey

You already have the answers. We help you move from knowing to doing.

Knowing to Doing →
01 — Recognition

Maybe you've done the therapy. Read the books. Sat with a coach, built a practice, found a framework that helped you understand yourself better. And still, there are places in your life where knowing hasn't become living.

None of that was wasted.

None of it was the problem.

Your life can look more together than it feels.

You've rehearsed what needs to change a hundred times in your head. But you're a damn good negotiator — somehow, something always gets prioritized above it.

You keep revisiting a decision you already know the answer to. The dissatisfaction doesn't move.

Most people spend years managing the distance between who they show up as and who they know they could be. They get remarkably good at maintaining that gap — but the discomfort of keeping it open only grows.

You've gotten very good at managing the distance.

02 — The Gap

The story you'd tell about your life

The life that’s
waiting on you

It rarely looks dramatic. We get used to the ways we override what we already know — until they start to feel normal.

Hustling toward something that still doesn't feel like enough.

Stillness that needs no reason — the quiet "fuck yeah" of knowing you're spending your time exactly where it counts.

Who you've always felt you are, deep down.

Peel back what you learned to perform — and meet the person who was there underneath it.

Running maintenance and interference on your own dissatisfaction.

Setting down the vigilance — it simply isn't needed anymore.

03 — The Life This Is In Service Of

This is what's on the other side of managing it.

A man at a window table with coffee and a book, looking out over the rooftops

Ordinary mornings. Work, rooms, and people you don’t have to brace yourself against.

Ease that doesn’t have to be earned. Play that doesn’t need an excuse.

Woven cushions and a blanket in a beachside tent, mountains beyond

A life you're proud to be living — one you have full dominion over.

Not a better story about your life. A life you actually live in.

04 — What Tend Your Fire Is

What Tend Your Fire actually is

Tend Your Fire is a 10-week guided self-inquiry program designed to close the distance between what you already know about yourself and the way you actually live. We use radical self-inquiry, nervous-system awareness, honest reflection, and intentional action to make what you uncover usable in your real life.

How it’s different

This isn't therapy. And it isn't another library of ideas to consume.

You're not here to collect more insight. You're here to stay with the questions long enough to see what is true — and then practice living from it.

Who it’s for

For people who have already done some of the work — therapy, reflection, meditation, coaching, personal development — and still feel a gap between what they understand and how they show up.

What the 10 weeks involve

Structured self-inquiry, five areas of focus across the ten weeks, intentional practices, accountability through scheduled 1:1 calls, and space to integrate what you're seeing into the way you actually live.

Marco doesn't hand you a framework to depend on or tell you who to be. He's a guide, not a guru — this is your work to do, and he's there to help you actually do it.

05 — The 10-Week Journey

Ten weeks. Not a curriculum — momentum, built one reflection at a time.

Before Week 1, you spend seven days observing your life as it actually is — where your energy goes, what expands or drains you, the environments and inputs shaping you, and the patterns you normally move through without noticing. This gives us a real baseline to work from.

Separate what you actually know from the noise you've inherited — expectation, fear, comparison, conditioning, and the voice of who you think you should be.

Look directly at what is asking for your attention now — the decision, desire, relationship, tension, or truth you keep circling.

Follow recurring patterns beneath the surface. Where did they come from? What have they protected? And do they still belong in the life you are building?

Notice the ways you protect yourself from uncertainty, rejection, discomfort, intimacy, failure, or change — even when those protections now keep you from what you want.

Bring what you've uncovered back into your actual life: your choices, relationships, boundaries, work, habits, and the way you show up when no one is watching.

Live Closing Call — Week 10 — A group session to integrate, reflect, and name what changed.

Before Week 1 begins

Orientation

Before Week 1, you spend seven days observing your life as it actually is — where your energy goes, what expands or drains you, the environments and inputs shaping you, and the patterns you normally move through without noticing. This gives us a real baseline to work from.

What you carry forward from here isn’t another framework. It’s a more honest relationship with yourself.

06 — Marco

I’m a guide, not a guru.

For over a decade, I sat with the same unease — screaming at myself, inside, to stop being avoidant and start looking directly at what was standing in my way. Myself.

Why I guide this work

From a depth of darkness that once felt inescapable, I came to genuinely love myself — and eventually to feel proud simply to be alive and have a heartbeat.

I didn’t get there through one method. Over eight years, I explored plant medicine, EMDR, Theta Healing and belief-system work, traditional therapy, ceremony, men’s work, and more than 1,000 hours of non-clinical trauma-informed facilitation.

At the same time, another part of my life was teaching me how to think differently. Years in project management taught me how to hold complexity, find the actual constraint inside a complicated system, and move something from where it is to where it needs to go.

For a long time, those felt like two separate lives.

Tend Your Fire came from realizing they weren’t.

The inner work taught me how to stay with what is true. The systems work taught me how to turn insight into movement.

Marco Dal Porto

I'm not here because I figured life out. I'm here because I learned how to ask better questions, stay when the answers got uncomfortable, and actually do something with what I found.

Marco Dal Porto

I’ve spent years in this work myself. I recognize a lot of the places we hide, negotiate, avoid, and lose sight of what we already know.

I light the way. The walking is yours.

07 — Before You Begin

Interested in going deeper with Tend Your Fire?

Tend Your Fire is an active process, not something you passively consume. You'll be asked to observe yourself honestly, stay with questions that may not have immediate answers, and bring what you're seeing into your actual decisions and behavior. You do not need to arrive knowing exactly what you want to change. Part of the work is learning to see what is already asking for your attention.

We begin with a 7-Day Life Audit before Week 1, then move through five areas of inquiry across the 10 weeks: your inner voice, what's alive right now, the roots beneath recurring patterns, the armor you've learned to wear, and the return to living what you know. Week 10 includes a live closing and integration call.

This is not a self-guided content library. Marco is directly involved in the process, helping you stay with the work rather than simply understand it intellectually. That support is structured through five scheduled 1:1 calls across the program, timed to help you integrate what each module surfaces.

This is designed for someone who already has some self-awareness and is willing to look honestly at the way they are living. You do not need to be in crisis. You do not need another diagnosis. And you do not need to have the next chapter figured out. You do need to be willing to participate.

The discovery call is a conversation — not a pressure close. We'll talk about what is happening in your life, what you are looking for, what Tend Your Fire involves, and whether working together actually makes sense. If it does, we can talk about the next step. If it doesn't, that is useful clarity too.

08 — The Invitation

You don’t have to know exactly what happens next. You just have to know you’re ready to stop negotiating with what you already know.

The conversation

If something here has been naming what you already feel, that's worth talking through. We'll look honestly at where you're at and whether Tend Your Fire is actually the right next step — no pitch.
